Welcome to the Westbury Library Group Website!

The group was originally set up to campaign against the proposed closure of many of Bristol's libraries - a proposal which was, thankfully, subsequently reversed.
To enable us to develop community activities within and alongside the Library, it was agreed in February 2020 that our campaign group would transform into a "Friends of Bristol Libraries" group, although we retained our previous name. You can read our constitution here

Online Access to Newspapers and Magazines is free for library users (more)

As part of Libraries West, you can reserve books from anywhere in the southwest at no charge (more)

Extended Access enables you to use the library from 8am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 1pm to 5pm on Sundays (more)
