WoTSoc Evening Talks
For a number of years, the Westbury on Trym Society (WoTSoc) organised evening talks at the Village Hall. With the arrival of Covid, these were discontinued but they have now restarted! The meetings are held in the Library , on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, starting at 7:45pm and with doors open from 7:30pm. They are free to WoTSoc members and £2 for non-members – and you can become a member on the night!
Places are limited to a maximum of 45. To book yours, please email the society at westburyontrymsociety@gmail.com or ring Malcolm Neave on 0117 9502825.

Tuesday October 20th: “Brunel in a changing world” the story of Isambard Kindom Brunel, one of Bristol's most famous figures, by Iain McGregor.
Because the front doors of the library are controlled by the Extended Access system, you are asked to use the side entrance, which involves three steps; if this would cause you difficulties, please let us know, and we can open the main doors from the inside to allow entrance via the ramp at the front of the building.
