WoTSoc Evening Talks
For a number of years, the Westbury on Trym Society (WoTSoc) organised evening talks at the Village Hall. With the arrival of Covid, these were discontinued but they have now restarted! The meetings are held in the Library , on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, starting at 8:00pm and with doors open from 7:45. They are free to WoTSoc members and £2 for non-members – and you can become a member on the night!
Places are limited to a maximum of 45. To book yours, please email the society at westburyontrymsociety@gmail.com or ring Malcolm Neave on 0117 9502825.

Thursday January 22nd : “A Virtual Heritage Trail of Westbury on Trym” by Alan Aburrow.
Tuesday February 16th : “Turner, Prince of the Rocks” a portrait of the painter J M W Turner and his time in Bristol, by Hilary Long.
Because the front doors of the library are controlled by the Extended Access system, you are asked to use the side entrance, which involves two steps; if this would cause you difficulties, please let us know, and we can open the main doors from the inside to allow entrance via the ramp at the front of the building.
